Brent crude rises above 100 dollars for first time since May 26

Brent crude oil surpassed $100 per barrel during trading on London's ICE exchange on Thursday afternoon.

September Brent futures hit $100.08 at 4:13 p.m. Moscow time and climbed to $100.28 at 4:15 p.m., showing a 6.6% increase from the previous close. This marks the first time the benchmark has traded above $100 in nearly two months.

Minutes later, the rise slowed, with Brent trading at $99.61 by 4:18 p.m.
