A resident of North Ossetia who went fishing on the Ardon River got in a water trap. Fortunately, rescuers came to his aid.
The man was rescued from an island in the middle of the Ardon mountain river by rescuers, the press service of the North Ossetian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
The emergency occurred near the village of Tamisk. The man got stuck on an island in the floodplain of the Ardon River. He could not leave it and get to the shore on his own.
Rescuers from the North Ossetian search and rescue squad went to the scene. Having reached the fisherman, they got to the island by boat, picked up the man and evacuated him to the shore.
