Iran and Tajikistan signed $500 million in economic cooperation agreements, Iranian Finance Minister Ali Madanizadeh announced.

According to the minister, Tehran and Dushanbe plan to collaborate on the development of trade in resources and technologies.

Madanizadeh emphasized the mutual benefits of bilateral cooperation, noting Iran's interest in Tajikistan's green energy sector and Tehran's expertise in blockchain and digital currencies.

The parties also signed agreements covering transportation, agriculture, and the extractive industry.
