Section of Kavkaz highway to be expanded in Dagestan

In Dagestan, 31 kilometers of the federal Kavkaz highway will be expanded to four lanes within a year. The issue was discussed during a meeting between the Dagestan leadership and the head of Rosavtodor.

In Dagestan, a 31-kilometer section of the federal Kavkaz highway will be repaired in 2025 as part of the development of the North-South international transport corridor.

Development issues were discussed during a working meeting between Dagestan Head Sergey Melikov and Rosavtodor Head Roman Novikov. The parties discussed the implementation of road network development projects.

Novikov noted that Dagestan is gaining importance as a part of the major logistics corridor, which requires modernization of the road infrastructure.
