There is no alternative to Russian fuel, Orban says

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the Druzhba oil pipeline plays a key role in the country's fuel supply. The only way to fully supply the country with oil is to import it from Russia.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated that the oil pipeline from Russia plays a crucial role for his country. He emphasized that there is no alternative to Russian fuel, and therefore, Hungary will continue to import it via the Druzhba pipeline.

Orban emphasized that Hungary does not accept any third-party demands to cancel Russian oil imports. When asked whether the US had made similar proposals, the Prime Minister denied it.
