Venezuela signs strategic partnership agreement with Russia

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro signed a decree on the entry into force of the strategic partnership and cooperation agreement with Russia, which Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Venezuelan leader signed in Moscow on May 7.

The document, which will be valid for ten years, establishes a roadmap for cooperation between Moscow and Caracas.

This agreement was previously unanimously ratified by the National Assembly of Venezuela.
