A Chinese company is interested in investing $250 mln in Türkiye. The funds will be used to establish a wind turbine manufacturing facility.
Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar met with representatives of China's Dongfang Electric Corporation. The Turkish minister wrote about the meeting on his social media pages.
The minister noted that Ankara plans to reach an installed wind and solar energy capacity of 120,000 MW by 2035. He added that once this goal is met, the country plans to increase its turbine and panel production capacity.
